Fundraising Coach run

A date to be arranged autumn 2008

Following Canapés and drinks, The Lonsdale Drag will depart from The Red Lion Coaching Inn, Llangadog with seven passengers and ample liquid refreshment. Baring unforeseen encounters with highwaymen, the Drag will arrive at the King's Head Coaching Inn, Llandovery, where a sumptuous traditional 19th Century meal and further liquid refreshments will await the passengers.

The lucky passengers are invited to contribute Ł1,000 each for this unforgettable experience, of which ALL THE MONEY will be donated to TY Hafan Children's Hospice. Mark Evans, The Red Lion and the King's Head are providing everything for the event FREE of charge.

However the prime Box Seat alongside the Coachman will attract a premium and will be occupied by the lucky passenger who tenders the highest sealed bid over the Ł1,000 basic contribution.

This event will be highly publicized and will hopefully raise a considerable sum for TY HAFAN

The Lonsdale Drag will be showing at the Royal Show, Stoneleigh, Warwickshire

Sunday July 6th 2008

The Lonsdale Drag will be at the Glanavon Hotel, Usk, Monmouthshire, raising funds with Caerleon Rotary Club

Saturday August 9th 2008

The Lonsdale Drag will be leading the parade of vehicles at the Pontypridd Historic Transport day

Parade departs from Ynys Angharad Park at 11.00 a.m.

Sunday & Monday August 24th & 25th

The Lonsdale Drag will be attending the Orllwyn Teifi Steam Fair.

Saturday & Sunday September 6th & 7th

The Lonsdale Drag will be attending the Welsh Show time Finale at the David Broom Equestrian Center, Chepstow.

Welfare in Animal Transport Order (WATO) Attendants/Drivers Certificates

Training and assessment days for WATO Attendants and Drivers Certificates will be arranged according to demand

Training/Assessment day planned; Sunday June 15th

British Driving Society Proficiency Tests

Preliminary level 1, Road driving Assessment and Elements of the Intermediate Competence.

Please phone if you would like to take your proficiency tests. We need a minimum number of candidates to run a test day.

Pair, Tandem, Four in Hand Driving

If you would like to join a pair, tandem or four in hand driving course please contact us. We are looking to run group courses during the summer.
